Volunteer Spotlight: Buster Creative Gives Back

At Buster Creative we like using our creative minds and talents to help others and support nonprofits in our community.

We are proud to be a part of the Association of Horizon, Inc. team of volunteers, providing creative and marketing support to promote this amazing association. They are a nonprofit volunteer organization that offers educational and recreational services for adults with physical disabilities.

Association of Horizon is an organization of people with and without physical disabilities that provides opportunities for individuals to challenge themselves, develop responsibility and grow through interacting and working together. Horizon has grown since its inception in 1991 and has successfully produced yearly Summer Camp Programs for adults with a wide range of physical disabilities including muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis. Buster Creative has also been actively involved with Friends of Lake Forest Parks & Recreation since 2006. Buster Creative’s Alice Hlavin stated, “It’s exciting to be a board member with an organization from the early years, and see it grow into a foundation that has made a real difference in the community.??? Their mission is to promote the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department and the city’s beautiful natural environment.
