The Soho-inspired factory is based on Chicago’s North Shore. Buster Creative is a traditional marketing communications agency that integrates social media platforms. With an emphasis on merging innovative design and content to produce compelling and award-winning creative.

At Buster Creative, we understand the brands and products we work with compete in challenging marketplaces that warrant client confidentiality and project security. Our company policies are committed to protecting all client information. If requested, we routinely sign non-disclosure agreements. Likewise, our technology systems ensure that all projects are securely backed up onsite as well as offsite. At Buster Creative, we take these measures seriously.

Alice Hlavin, founder and co-owner, is the creative spark for all work at Buster Creative. Whether it is a fully-integrated new product launch for a national brand or a brand identity extension for an existing brand, Alice applies solid principles of design to both traditional and social media to persuade customers to action.

A native Chicago-area resident, Alice earned a degree in communications arts from Loyola University/Chicago. Sensing a career in business was in her future, she added an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Dominican University while working in the design studio at Wilson Sporting Goods. Prior to establishing Buster Creative, Alice worked as the in-house creative director for an industry-leading consumer goods manufacturer.

George Demet, co-owner, is the spark for everything else at Buster Creative! Whether it is helping clients with nailing the project strategy or applying his technical background to get it done right. His knowledge of traditional execution and social media platforms will get the project done right, on time and on budget.

A native Chicago-area resident, George earned separate degrees in chemical engineering and materials science from the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University, respectively. During a 13-year career at Motorola, George added an MBA from the University of Chicago. This unique background allows George to deliver legitimate added-value support for the industrial, medical and technical B2B clients of Buster Creative.
